In November we collect food and your very best, gently used clothing. Bring your freshly laundered or dry cleaned clothing to the Lower Level Outreach Room. We also collect household linens (i.e. sheets, blankets and towels) in very good condition.
We continue accepting new socks, laundry detergent, paper products and toys.
Preparations for the event itself begin November 25. Come join the fun! Check the work schedule calendar on the Outreach bulletin board in The Commons stairwell and let us know when you plan to help.

Please help us make Christmas Sharing more fun and festive! We offer cookies and hot chocolate to all the families that come to pick up their food and “shop”
for gifts and clothes. Any kind of homemade goodie is welcome, but the kids always love the special holiday treats; anything with frosting, sprinkles, or candies is sure to be appreciated! Bring your treats to the church kitchen during building hours on Thursday or Friday before Christmas Sharing. Make sure to label your container or platter with your name if you would like it back.

Pastor Bruzek likes to say “Find your spot and work your spot.” If you’ve yet to “find your spot,” or are interested in finding/working another, come to the Time and Talent Fair. There are opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and interests to serve the Lord at St. John. Representatives from various church committees will be on hand to answer questions, share their experiences, offer guidance, and even recruit you! We look forward to starting the year with renewed energy, offering our time and talent to support St. John and enrich our community.
Listen online Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. (broadcast through the WETN-FM Wheaton College Radio website), or listen on the air at 88.1 FM.
